Overview

Easy to use electronic console with blue backlight LCD display. Includes a built-in cooling fan and water bottle holder. Smooth natural motion provided by a whisper quiet drive system. The combination of a heavy flywheel and a high gear ratio not found on comparable models means an extremely smooth feel with plenty of resistance at the top end for a machine that will provide a challenging workout. Upper body exercise provides a total body workout. Stationary handle bars with built-in pulse sensors for monitoring your heart rate. A heart rate chest strap is also included for hands free pulse monitoring and heart rate interactive programs. Oversize foot pedals for a comfortable workout. These unique foot pedals were designed in collaboration with a leading physical therapist and sports enthusiast. Together with Sole engineers we have designed in a 2 degree inward slope to the foot pedals which reduce ankle and knee stress that is common in other elliptical machines. The four real wheels which ride on heavy duty rails provide a smoother more stable feel and reduce side to side foot pedal motion. A feature found only on more expensive models. I am happy with my elliptical. It runs very smoothly and it was very easy to set up. It was a little frustrating to track my package, and amazon gave false information about when it would arrive. I had read it would arrive in about a week. I did not receive my package until 4 weeks later. I the communication between amazon and fogdog were a little off, because if you go to fogdog's website they explain that it takes about 3-4 weeks, which it did. Built like a tank....
I think this machine will last longer than me, solidly built. Only draw back is it takes a couple of hours to uncrate and put the thing together. I'm really satisfied with the product so far.

Good build and quality, easy to setup
The Sole E35 purchase was based on reviews from two external reputable sites that specialize in testing elliptical and treadmill equipments. I was looking at the Schwinn series which was almost a third cheaper than the Sole brand but the reviews given to the Schwinn were expected for a cheaper make. A Great Elliptical!
The elliptical took about 2 hours to put together, but the directions were really straight forward and it came with all the tools needed to put it together.
