It was very easy to assemble via the instructions provided and gives you a very intense workout. I find it much better than a treadmill as it gives you a upper and lower body workout. Schwinn 430 Rocks!
You can't beat this Amazon deal... it's the best deal around + right now the shipping is free! We were debating on getting the Schwinn 430 or the 431 and we decided that really the only reason why the 431 is $250 more is because there are a couple more "interval" items on the control panel, it has a fan and a place to put your MP3 player- and those weren't top priorities for us. I looked at most reviews here before I bought this machine. I got this machine right before Xmas and so far I am very pleased with its design and performance. It is the best product with the price. My bf spent about 2 hrs on assembly by himself and didn't have any problems at all. He read some of the reivews before assembly and it helped avoid make any mistakes. Assembly in 2 hours. Excellent quality of construction - heavy duty metal and hardware. Pre-drilled holes have been tested for integral fit prior to shipping which made assembly straightforward. Heaviest unassembled component (flywheel composite) is about 60 pounds and not too hard to carry up stairs. Very smooth mechanical system, and force-grading system that does work.
