Product Description

Enjoy a total body cardio workout without trudging to the gym day after day with the Body Champ BRM3670 dual cardio trainer. The BRM3670 is actually two fitness machines in one, with a pair of elliptical arms and foot pedals for upright elliptical use, as well as an adjustable seat that turns the machine into an exercise bike. As a result, users can vary their workout routines depending on the goals they're trying to achieve. The BRM3670 is built around an advanced, motor-driven magnetic resistance system, which provides quiet and smooth workouts with zero impact on your knees. The deluxe, programmable LCD console, meanwhile, makes it easy to monitor your workout, with data on your time, speed, distance, calories burned, and more. And users will love the variety of workout programs, which includes 10-plus preset programs, multiple heart-rate-driven programs, and several user-customizable programs. Too busy to hit the gym on a regular basis? The BRM3670 will help you see results in only 20 minutes per day three or four times a week.

About Elliptical Trainers
Elliptical trainers represent the next wave of advancement in low-impact cardiovascular exercise machines and continue to grow in popularity. By simulating motions experienced through walking, stepping, cycling, and skiing, elliptical machines allow for a smooth and fluid motion while building strength in the arms and legs. Similar to the exercise position for treadmills, elliptical trainers are used by standing in an upright position while holding the handrails of the machine. With elliptical trainers, however, your feet remain in the foot pedals throughout the exercise regimen and circulate in a smooth and seamless motion, resulting in little to no impact on the knees, back, and hips.

Elliptical trainers are compatible for all ages and fitness levels and allow you to select the difficulty level through the incline and intensity settings. Additionally, elliptical trainers allow you to determine the complexity of your workout based on your needs, all while listening to music, watching television, or reading a magazine while exercising in the comfort and safety of your own home.

Although different types of elliptical trainers offer an assortment of features, many of them include an array of challenging programs, forward and reverse directional movement, EKG grip pulse handles, a lightweight portable design with easy fold-up capability, and a monitor displaying calories burned, distance, speed, time, and heart rate. Other types of exercise machines, namely treadmills and bikes, offer excellent cardiovascular exercise and muscular training for the legs in a forward-motion exercise. Elliptical trainers take this to the next level by offering an upper and lower body workout with dual motion, challenging and diverse programs, and a low-impact exercise machine that won't strain sensitive joints.

I have had several spine surgeries and can't use trainers without seats so this one appealed to me because it does have the seat though you can use it standing as well. The quality is outstanding. At the price offered I was concerned about getting low quality equipment but that was not the case. It says remanufactured but it looks and performs like new. I could find nothing to make me think it had ever been used before. It comes disassembled and while all the tools you'll need come with it, plan on 1-1/2 to 2 hours to put it together because it is involved. The directions are accurate and the parts were all there so I had it done in about an hour and a half. The magnetic resistance works really well and is easily controlled. It has many optional programs that allow you to simulate hills, both steep and easy in a variety of ways simulating various topographic conditions. The timer and pulse meter operations are clear and easy to use and the readouts show time, distance, calories, RPM, and pulse (when used) clearly. If I had to fault the equipment for anything at all it would be the inability to adjust the angle of the control panel. I am 5-11 and it seems to have been designed for someone taller than I am. I think what I like best is the way the magnetic resistance works. Operating the trainer is very quiet so I can watch the news on TV while working out on it and don't have to resort to headphones. Overall, I highly recommend the Body Champ BRM3670 Magnetic Elliptical Trainer with seat.

Just bought this at a local sporting goods store ($149) and I think it is pretty good for the money. This is a great way to get two for the price of one. When I get tired of sitting, I can stand.

My husband put it together in about 1 1/2 hours. The machine has a relatively small footprint which I needed for the small room that I have it in.

The seat will need a gel pad...not horribly uncomfortable, but recommmended. It is a not real smooth with using it as an elliptical, but works okay. When using as a bike it works well and I definitely felt the workout in my quads.

I recommend it!
